It was just a matter of time, I'm a big sucker for the 'new'!
This year's theme is a little matter-of-fact and non wishy-washy.
I really like it.
The Turkish lamp picture was taken in Istanbul in Jul. '11.
This was at a makeshift oasis of a coffee & shisha shop in the historical peninsula.
I've been trying to get my hands around time but the possibility has oscillated forever between genuine hands-in-the-ground & bouts of lazy retaliations.
Lesson learnt this week:
do not treat a small burn casually! It can become a painful SOB. I have learnt the grandma's tales- honey, egg whites etc. and the painfully simple solution- GO SEE A DOCTOR!
Till I heal and appear in better spirits (saving everyone the ordeal of looking at a puss-blob on my foot!).
