"It took me a while to learn...
that friendships aren't handcuffed;
& happiness flutters awhile.
That promises are not contracts
& a tear can be so fragile!
...And that unspoken, so many words hang...
pregnant, with emotions gushing.
I learn...
that pain can never take a form,
and that true love doesnt have to be 'born'
That every encounter gives you something,
and most is left unsaid as we both speak...
That every happy today does not guarantee anything
but a hope;
I've learnt that life is always the best teacher,
& my instincts, no matter how ridiculous, always hold true!
that respect feels best when reciprocated
& that fantasies are not always fairy-tales...
That every problem knows how to solve itself,
& the loss of something small hurts worse than losing a lifetime...
I learn that the day I stop living, I will!
& that perseverence wasnt made to have a substitute
...that I can think straight in a turmoil.
& I do like flirting...working on that skill!
That "PeRfeCt" is case sensitive,
& jealousy a woman's second skin!
Been walking along life's incline...
Know that when I reach its peak,
it will not be the end of these discoveries...
...but only the beginning!
